We are a young Indo-Canadian couple in our 30s and this is a blog to record our journey, our plans and the process of adoption of our baby from the mysterious (and resource rich) nation of Kazakhstan. Hopefully this will help keep our friends and family informed, and also help anyone else considering embarking on the same journey.

Oh Rasna what a little CUTIE-PATOOTIE!!!!!! I check how many times a day waiting for updates and pics!!! :-) He looks SOO cuddly and sweet! Relish every minute of your first days with your little guy! ~Steph
Awwww!! Those cheeks!!!! I know you can only tease us for a while, but the parts we can see look adorable! SO, SO happy for you. And relieved that all went well today such that you are now in "family-of-three" mode. Yay!!
Adorable! I'm so excited for all three of you! Looks like a different room than the one most of us were in - no blue carpet with little bears and balloons.
:) this is a new facility we are told and the children were moved here. its super clean and really nice. Thank you so much for all your comments, msgs about your own journey and all the advice. You have no idea how helpful it has been in the past 48 hrs especially. I could Hug you all! :)
He really is beautiful !! Enjoy your time bonding! Such a nice period, especially in Aktobe with our first adoption... We could meet our son every day 4 hours, only the sundays 2 hours...
Congratulations on meeting your son!!! He is adorable. Can't wait to see more photos and read more about your experience. I think they may have renovated the room...or maybe you are in a different room?
Beautiful picture. It said everything.
